Naturalizer Shoe Review and GIVEAWAY!! (Winner announced below)

Do you have "athletic calves"? Well, I do and that makes buying boots not so much fun. I have tried on a ton of different styles and I can never find boots I like that fit. Yes, I can wear the short boots. But I want those tall boots that everyone wears before they go out of style.


I received a pair of Naturalizer boots to review and I was both super excited and scared that they would not fit over my athletic calves. So when the boots arrived, they were gorgeous, tall and black with a great buckle detail by the ankle. I sat down on my couch and slowly unzipped them, I slipped my foot in and began the slow zip up the side. I was getting more and more nervous as the zipper went higher and higher. I finally reached the widest part of my calf and....ZIP...up it went. I completley jumped out of my seat and let out a little scream. Both of my kids looked at me like I was bonkers and Cliff peered up at me from the paper with that look on his face of WTF.

They totally fit..and not only that, as I pranced around the room, they were comfortable. The heel was a perfect hight. I believe you would call it a medium heel. So now I needed to figure out what I wanted to wear with them. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long - I had an opportunity to wear that skirt I made last year, wiht a turquoise top and black cardigan and my boots. I was in LOVE! They stayed comfortable all day as I ran around Minneapolis.
